NZ Sign and Display Awards
The flag ship event for the NZSDA is the annual NZ Sign and Display Awards. This prestigious national event recognizes and acknowledges outstanding design and craftsmanship across a broad range of signmaking methods and technologies. Every year it receives hundreds of online entries from all over New Zealand.
To Acknowledge Excellence is the primary purpose of the NZ Sign and Display Awards. This maxim not only constitutes part of the wards programme logo, but also provides the standard by which all entries are judged. This ensures that the overall standard of entries is high and that competition for the gold, silver and bronze medals is fierce. Sponsored by many of New Zealand’s leading sign and graphics suppliers, the annual awards dinner and prize giving is held in various locations throughout New Zealand’s, reinforcing the event’s national status.

2019 NZ Sign and Display Awards Evening

Pre-dinner drinks from 5.45pm, presentation starts at 6.30pm – 12.30am.
Join us as we celebrate top notch, first class workmanship from our sign makers throughout New Zealand.
To enter your “stand out creation” go to our Awards Entry Website and Register as a NEW USER today. Please be aware that no previous logon credentials from previous years will get you access to this new Website. Things to remember and have handy are your NZSDA Membership number, as this will allow you your discount for each entry when you reach the payment section. Also have your credit card ready as all entries need to be paid as you submit.

This year we won’t be taking any accommodation bookings for Awards Guests. However we have options below and we encourage you to download and book earlier rather than later so you can secure a room for the night at a good rate. Please note that all accommodation costs are to be paid direct to hotel at time of booking.
Note: Transport will be provided to and from Trinity Wharf Hotel and The Armitage Hotel only.
After Event Drinks:
We have organised for The Phoenix Bar to remain open for the evening until 3am if our Awards guests haven’t quite finished celebrating. Both Trinity Wharf and Armitage house bars will not be open when you return from the Awards evening. See details below.
