President’s Post – February 2026
Happy New Year! I hope you all had a great break and that 2026 is off to a strong start with good, profitable work and a full pipeline.

A Wellington sign writer has made industry history by becoming the first person in New Zealand to officially qualify in the Digital Signage strand of the sign making apprenticeship since its introduction.

As we kick into the new year, we’re focused on developing the plans we set at our December strategy meeting, making sure the industry has strong opportunities to connect, learn, and grow. These goals were set ahead of time so we could dive straight into the year with momentum, and with a solid foundation already in place.

ACC’s new campaign shows how active recovery and staying connected to the workplace can help people recover faster and return to whānau, work and life, sooner.
