We asked them to share their thoughts on achieving this milestone and what it means for their business and the industry, see their answers below.

Why was achieving Master Sign Maker accreditation important to you and your business? 

We feel we have the skills and knowledge to be in this group. Being such a small team in a small part of the country, it helps our business stand out from others. While letting our local community know we are more than capable of producing and supplying signage solutions that are available all over the country. Giving our customers confidence and assurance they’re in good hands. Also, for our team morale, being recognised by the industry has given us a huge boost. 

What value do you believe this accreditation brings to the wider industry? 

I feel it brings a sense of professionalism to the industry for clients. It will be the highest accreditation, so clients and customers will be looking for companies with this badge under their name.  

What was the most challenging part of earning the accreditation? 

I don’t feel it was challenging; it’s more patience and consistency. We know we can create high quality signage solutions, but we had been a little absent from being more involved in the industry’s centre (NZSDA) in the past few years. Our business is running well now, and we have the time and energy to put in.  

What advice would you give to others thinking about pursuing the same accreditation? 

Have confidence, back yourself & your team, get involved & have fun doing it!
