New Owner Joins Digital Signs
As many of you know Digital Signs was formed in 2017 to take advantage of the newly emerging ‘full matrix’ LED display product that allowed pictures and video to be displayed anywhere on the screen (the older styled technology was more letters and numbers only in set places). In 2018 we acquired Signopsys (that had been around for circa 20 years) and the rest is history.
In 2024 Digital Signs acquired the first resource consent to operate a digital billboard on the super busy Ellerslie, Auckland motorway (150,000 cars each way on 6 lanes of highway). This has created a very large opportunity to add another 15 nationwide, making it a good time to pass the mantle for the continued growth of LED displays to the signage industry to another person.
While Dave Jaques is still very much involved in the business for the time being, he is thrilled to announce Deepak Attri will be coming on as an owner. Deepak has owned many businesses over the years, but the most helpful and recent one is his ‘technology’ business (repairing Apple products and offering the full range of IT services). Deepak is familiar with the Digital Signs product as he has worked with it at one of the local schools that he manages the IT for. He is thrilled to come on board and offer his expertise in growing the business.
Deepak (and his son Harsh) will both be attending the Sign Makers Conference in June and are looking forward to meeting you all. He is committed to keeping Digital Signs as a wholesale supplier to the signage industry and doing all he can to help you all make money from adding this to your product range.
Dave would like to thank you all for your support and relationships to date. He will also be at Conference and can’t wait to see you all there.
Digital Signs – the way of the future!
