2025 Membership Category Declaration
Please find following our membership declaration information for our new financial year period 1st April 2025 – 31st March 2026.
This is your chance to make any necessary changes to ensure your business aligns with the correct category. The information you provide us gives us a better understanding of the current membership landscape and provides statistics needed to ensure we do better for our members business needs. This also helps us assist our business network partners, suppliers and associated organisations with their requirements so they can provide better services, discounts and benefits to you all.
Payment Plans:
One Off Yearly Payment, due on or before the 20th of May 2025.
Six monthly, two payments, with first payment due on or before 20th May, last payment due on or before 20th December 2025.
Monthly, membership fee split evenly between 11 months of the year. To be set up as a direct credit or automatic payment by the member.
In offering the above payment options we are seeking a commitment from our members to confirm their membership for the full period of 1st April 2025 through to the end of the NZSDA financial year being 31st March 2026.
No Response:
If no response is given by the due date, it does not constitute your indication to retire from the Association a response of any outcome is a MUST.
Please refer you to Rule 9(c) of the constitution which states:
“Any member may resign upon first giving to the Secretary not less than 3 months’ written notice of intention to do so, and paying all subscriptions and other sums which at the expiry of the notice period may remain owing by the member to the Association. The Management Board may in its complete discretion waive any such payment in any case of genuine hardship.”
Membership Categories:
Note that it was agreed in the 2024 AGM the annual membership fees were not increasing for 2025 financial year.
Category A $415+GST
An individual whom is currently self-employed with no employees, is of good character, industry qualified and or qualifies for membership through time served to the industry.
Category B $555+GST
A business whom employees staff, with a total number of full time equivalent employees or contractors (including the owner/operator, assuming he/she works in the business) of three or less.
Category C $755+GST
A business whom employees staff, with a total number of full time equivalent employees or contractors (including the owner/operator, assuming he/she works in the business) of more than three.
Multi-Site $415+GST
A business franchise group or multi sites that can hold the same business name and employs a total number of two plus full-time equivalent employees or contractors (including the owner/operator, assuming he/she works in the business). Note: One main site must hold a full Category C Membership to be eligible for the Multi Site membership.
Associate $415+GST
Any individual or Business associated with the trade but does not fulfil qualifications of the trade may apply as an associate member.
Retired $50.00+GST
Any individual or Business for serving an extended membership period, is highly regarded by peers within the industry and whose contribution and commitment has been for an extended period.
Honorary No Fee
At any time any member may nominate to the Executive Board consideration for a select individual to receive Honorary membership in recognition for their life-long commitment and contribution to the association and the industry.
