(Vice) President’s Post – May

Hey Team,

With the NZ Sign and Display Awards just around the corner, Shae has his judge’s hat on and is currently waist deep in sign award entries this week, so I’m stepping in with a quick update.

We’ve been putting a lot of effort this year into beefing up your membership. Think HR consultant, FREE webinars loaded with actionable tips for your business, we’ve even made the Signee program FREE for members to help with training and onboarding new staff. Plus, we’ve bought back the regional meetings, and we’re just getting started. I’m really excited about some of the other things in the works.

But here’s the deal – while all these things are awesome, the real value of your membership is realised when you immerse yourself in this amazing community. That means showing up at regional meetings, attending conference, and throwing your hat in the ring for the sign awards. Once you’re in the mix, you’ll find yourself having important conversations with your industry peers who get the highs and lows you face, swapping stories, bouncing ideas, comparing notes, and maybe even finding some new lifelong friends. And trust me, you can’t put a value on that!

There’s still time to jump on the conference train, and it’s even cheaper this year than last, so what’s holding you back? Personally, I can’t wait – I hope to see all the regulars there and a few new faces too.
