DOES YOUR SIGN BUSINESS PROVIDE SERVICES TO ESSENTIAL BUSINESSES?
The Government revealed yesterday a list of jobs and services deemed “essential” and, therefore, are not required to be in lockdown for the next four weeks.
According to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) essential businesses are those that SUPPORT people and PROVIDE the necessities of life for everyone in New Zealand. This list may evolve over time.
If your sign shop provides support to any essential businesses, then we suggest that you close your doors to the public, but continue to work with strict measures in place such as seeking alternative ways of working to keep your employees safe. Be sure to include shift-based working, reducing onsite staff, staggered meal breaks, flexible leave arrangements and physical distancing.
