2026 Sign & Print Expo Survival Guide
The 2026 Sign & Print Expo at Auckland Showgrounds will bring together the sign, print, and display community from across New Zealand. Whether you’re an exhibitor or a visitor, being prepared will help you get the most out of every moment on the floor.
Get Ready Before You Go
We recommend you book your flights and accommodation well in advance. With hundreds of visitors expected, recommended accommodation options may fill quickly.
Make sure you have registered to attend. While door tickets will be available, you will have a faster and easier expo experience if you register online. Registering online also gives you access to the Expo Extras package, allowing you first choice of all speaker and workshop sessions, plus an invitation to our exclusive social events.
Read through the event program on our website so you know where key exhibitors, demos, and presentations will be held. While there will be plenty to see throughout the expo, planning your visit in advance means you won’t miss out on the things that matter most to you.
Follow the NZSDA Facebook page for updates and any important announcements leading up to the event.
To make sure you’re ready from day one:
- Confirm your registration
- Book your flights and accommodation early
- Review the program and floor plan
- Follow NZSDA updates for schedule changes
Make the Most of It
The expo is full of opportunities to learn, connect, and be inspired. Arriving with a plan will help you make the most of it.
Think about what you want to achieve while you are there. Whether it’s meeting potential suppliers, finding new products, or gaining insight from workshops and talks, having clear goals keeps your day focused.
Consider these tips:
- Highlight the exhibitor demos and sessions you don’t want to miss
- Set achievable goals such as meeting five new suppliers or attending three workshops
- Prepare a few questions for speakers or exhibitors to start meaningful conversations
Dress for Success
Long days at an expo can be tiring, so come prepared. Wear comfortable shoes, dress in layers to suit the venue temperature, and represent your business with branded shirts.
Food & Coffee
Food and coffee will be available onsite throughout the event, and water refill stations will be located around the venue to help you stay hydrated.
If you’re planning on attending back-to-back speaker sessions and exhibitor demos, having a few energy bars or snacks on hand will help keep you fuelled and focused.
Stay Connected
Don’t forget to share your experience and be part of the conversation online. Post photos, tag the NZSDA, and share your highlights using the event hashtag #SignPrintExpo2026.
Following and engaging on social media is also the best way to stay informed about live updates, behind-the-scenes moments, and special announcements during the expo.
Stay connected, share your insights, and help showcase the creativity and innovation that make New Zealand’s sign and display industry so strong.
We also recommend bringing business cards with you. You never know who you will meet, or who you want to stay in touch with whether it is suppliers, or fellow sign makers you’d like to collaborate with.
Enjoy Yourself
Finally, remember to enjoy the experience. The Sign & Print Expo is about more than just innovation and technology, it’s about connecting with others who share your passion for creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation.
Take the time to meet new people, explore fresh ideas, and celebrate the talent that drives our industry forward. Every conversation, connection, and discovery you make contributes to what makes this event so special.
