LED displays are fast becoming the way of the future for promoting businesses, branding & marketing ….. so even if you’re in a back unit and cannot get a sign out onto the road where there is a will there is a way … here is what one clever business owner did to promote his business and his brand …..…

At Digital Signs we are very priviledged to be looking after so many NZSDA members from all around the country, but we also deal with our own customers direct.  Mag Warehouse are a small family run business operating in Auckland, setup by Nathan Joll in 2002.  They use TradeMe as their website portal and focus on providing good old fashioned service.

As well as dealing in mags and tyres Nathan imports American left-hand drive muscle cars (4WD utes) which he then converts to right-hand drives and sorts the compliance for use on New Zealand roads.  Their business is located in a back unit with very little road frontage available.  It just so happens that Nathan had imported an old Ford F250 from California that he could not take on the road for various resons, but being the clever chap he is, Nathan contacted Digital Signs to lease one of our battery powered portable digital signs.  Eachand every morning the boys drive it out to the edge of his property, cleverly showing off the classic Ford pickups and attracting the attention of his passing customers with vibrant images of his product range.  At the end of each day when the forklift needs charging Nathan also plugs in his sign preparing for the day ahead without having to worry about power cables.

Most local councils will allow temporary roadside advertising and Auckland is no different, providing it is moved every 14 days to be compliant with council rules and regulations.

If you think your business could use this type of portable signage, then get intouch with Digital Signs so that they can provide you or your clients quality digital signage solutions.
