Henshaw Signs have been producing quality signs and print for over 30 years and are one of the leading sign makers in the North Island. Based in Porirua, with a wide range of customers, they offer a full service from design to installation.
Due to growth and a focus on continuous improvement, they have created a new role. They are seeking a switched on Production Manager with extensive sign industry knowledge to run their busy workshop. - Extensive sign industry knowledge
- Prior experience in a management or operations role
- Good computer skills
- Have strong customer focus
- Have excellent communication skills
- Great organization skills & attention to detail
- Be able to multi-task and think on your feet
- Have an open minded and flexible outlook
- Demonstrate a high level of project delivery
- Be a problem solver who works well in a team environment
- Have a full drivers Licence
Tasks will include:
- Day to day planning & coordination of workflow
- Overseeing the Production Team
- Ordering and management of materials
- Liaising with Customers and managing Contractors
- Assisting Account Managers to plan & manage jobs
- Ensuring all Health & Safety requirements are met and adhered to
- Opening and closing of workshop each day
- Hands on work as and when required, in order to meet deadlines
A competitive salary and company vehicle is on offer, with hours of work being 7.30am-4.30pm Mon-Fri. Some flexibility around these hours is occasionally required.
