NZ Sign & Display Awards of Excellence | Queenstown

Embracing change is good, and so at the NZ Sign Display Awards 2022 we will be doing different and changing our familiar format of the evening.  This starts with our venue, which will be held at the Skyline in Queenstown, which perches high above the Queenstown township overlooking the mountainous land and Lake Wakatipu. Only reachable by gondola, the ride to the top take will take a few short minutes all the while you soak up the majestic views.

Once at the top, enjoy the cosy fire lite ambience and the 180 degree view of the pre-dinner drinks area before the presentations begin.  There will be no display of the Awards this year, logistically we were unable to offer this due to venue restrictions.  The Awards Gallery of all entries will be available for all to view in the weeks leading up to the awards evening.

We ask everyone to embrace the untraditional layout of the seating plan, as long trestle tables will be laid out over 3 tiered levels overlooking the floor to ceiling glass windows of the Stratosphere restaurant and presentation stage area.  Screens will be placed throughout the room for those that may have obstructive views.

Our Master of Ceremonies and Entertainer for the 2022 NZ Sign Display Awards is Ben Hurley. We are over the moon to have Ben host our event as MC for the evening.  Ben is one of the standout success stories of Aotearoa comedy and winner of all the major comedy awards. He has is hugely likeable stage presence, a sharp improvisational mind and has well-honed original material which will make him popular for our evening I am sure.

We have three new and notable awards this year, Innovation Champion, Keith Langstone Highflyer and the Mana Influencer.  These are nomination awards of which you can nominate yourself, or another business.  Details of what these awards mean and what is needed to apply plus closing dates are found on our website at www.nzsda.org.nz   We also are seeking registrations for our very prestigious Apprentice of the Year Award.  This award is always received well within our industry and on the evening as we celebrate our young learners for their dedication to learning and training, their creativity and aspirations.  To find out more head to our website, applications close on 19th May 2022.

Once the Awards presentation comes to an end, we can then all let loose on the dance floor as LA Social grace us with their extreme talent that will defiantly fire up the dance floor as they     with the many anthems, that we all love to sing and dance to.
