An understanding of\u00a0textile printing would be an\u00a0advantage for this role. The Textiles Alive environment supports innovation, creativity and problem solving, so the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate a willingness to adapt and roll up their sleeves to\u00a0assist in other areas as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Job:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Printing duties which include; organising and loading large print runs, measuring, printing, cutting of printed and unprinted media as required by the production schedule, to meet customer order requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that production is completed to the standard required by product &amp; quality control specifications, working closely with other production departments.<\/li>\n<li>All individual job documentation is completed as required for traceability.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure the work area &amp; equipment is maintained in a tidy, clean and safe condition at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that productivity targets (timeframe to complete a job) are met and ink\/printer stock levels are communicated as requested.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously identify and realise every opportunity to improve productivity, product quality and safety in every part of the printing and general production areas.<\/li>\n<li>Actively participate in any special projects as required and any other production task as requested<\/li>\n<li>Comply with all Textiles Alive Health &amp; Safety requirements as explained and agreed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Person<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>knowledge of wide format printing an advantage<\/li>\n<li>experience\/understanding of sublimation printing processes an\u00a0advantage however full training will be provided.<\/li>\n<li>have strong attention to detail for quality control checks<\/li>\n<li>ability to anticipate obstacles and respond accordingly to prevent wastage and delays<\/li>\n<li>problem solver that can think on their feet while meeting time deadlines<\/li>\n<li>a multi-tasker who will go the extra mile<\/li>\n<li>a personality that can be both organised and adaptable\u00a0\u2013 a real team player!<\/li>\n<li>heavy lifting is a daily requirement, so must have good physical fitness and ability to do so safely.<\/li>\n<li>Sharepoints and some computer knowledge an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wage negotiable depending on experience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Situation Vacant |\u00a0 Wide Format Dye Sub Printer Date: 31\/08\/2021 Advertiser: Textiles Alive Position Location:\u00a0Tauranga Contact:\u00a0Dayle O&#8217;Callaghan dayle@textilesalive.co.nz _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Wide Format Dye Sub Printer Role The successful candidate will be responsible for the printing area,\u00a0driven\u00a0by the production schedule and\u00a0to the required quality standard in a safe and cost-effective manner.
