Dustin Brattle Appointed to Next-Gen Manufacturing Advisory Group

NZSDA member Dustin Brattle from Octavo Group has been appointed to the Next-Gen Manufacturing Advisory Group, where he will represent the NZSDA and the wider sign industry.

This is Dustin’s second appointment representing the sign industry, following his selection to the Manufacturing Industry Advisory Group earlier this year. In July, he brought his industry experience and knowledge to discussions at a Hui focused on the future of manufacturing skills and education.

His latest appointment will see him contribute to the development of the new Next-Gen Manufacturing Industry-Led Subject, providing targeted industry advice throughout the curriculum development process.

For the sign industry, Dustin’s involvement provides an opportunity to ensure our industry is represented in discussions about the skills and knowledge needed across the manufacturing sector.

For Dustin, the appointment is an opportunity to bring the sign industry’s perspective to the table. “I’m really excited to be able to represent the sign industry in this group. We have a lot to offer as part of the manufacturing sector, and it’s great to have the opportunity to share that experience and perspective. I’m looking forward to being part of the discussions and making sure our industry has a voice.”

The NZSDA is pleased to have Dustin representing the industry in this work and looks forward to his contribution to the development of the new subject.

NZSDA President Logan Sutton says, “It’s so great to see Dustin taking on this role and representing the sign industry at this level. His experience and commitment to our industry make him a strong voice in these discussions and give us a real opportunity to ensure the perspective of sign businesses is heard. We’re privileged to have him representing the NZSDA.”
