Association Update – February

2023 welcome!  Its been a long time since a new year has given us some good vibes and we are excited to bring a tonne of fun, inspiration and learning.  Beginning the first quarter of 2023 with …

….. scheduled regional meetings in Auckland, Wellington, Palmerston North and Christchurch.  These meetings will focus on your biggest assets, your people.  Advantage Business will give some tips and insight into investing in your people, business growth strategies and implementation of systems.  We will also invite industry experts to share their knowledge on popular sign techniques, such as adobe suite, wrapping skills and LED skills.  Health, Safety and Well-being are also top priorities for when it comes to looking after your people, and our network partners will offer advice and support in these areas.  All meetings are sponsored by just one supplier and a Supplier Spotlight will conclude the meeting presenting new products, services or education on new technologies hitting the market.

Following the meetings, the next day, are the Print and Sign golf days in Christchurch, Wellington and Palmerston North.  This is an excellent way to start the year making new connections, or reuniting with old ones, engaging with some social banter, and overall, just having fun.

Also during February and March Print NZ will be holding small meetings throughout the country advising print and sign members on legislative updates for 2023, dates and locations will be out in the New Year.  These meetings will give you the information your business needs to head into the new year with confidence, and a real advantage as being ready and prepared for when you need to put it into action.

For the Suppliers, Sign Makers and printers of the Sign and Print Industry, an Expo will be held in Auckland early July.  Interested in exhibiting, then get in contact with us to book your stand – floor space will be in high demand and very likely to sell out fast due to both Sign and Print coming together.  For the Sign Makers and Printers out there, mark the dates in your calendar, Create, Make and Innovate Expo is going to be a goodie 5-8 July.   The coming together of two like-minded industries under one roof is the perfect platform to see many inspiring technologies across a broad range of suppliers – don’t miss this event.  The NZSDA conference will run alongside this Expo and the NZ Sign Display Awards will be held on the conclusion of Expo 8th July.   To register your interest in the Expo, Conference or Sign Awards get in contact with the Secretary at the NZSDA, we are here to help you and your business achieve better.
